Also Mirrors Edge is definitely more of a console game by the looks of it.

It looks like a first person PoP, which I thought was much better on consoles.

I agree

There is a glaring flaw to this argument.

Yea but shooting has been stated as being very much not a part of the action which makes me think a controller would be handier.  And if I have a controller Id rather be laying on my couch.

Laptop + Lap = ballcooker.  Also where would I use the mouse, on one of the cats?

Laptop + Lap = No Accidental Pregnancies

Re: Release Date Schedule - HeK - 08-07-2008

My laptop doesn't get hot. Plus it doesn't fit on my lap, it's small enough to fit on a single thigh.

Fallout 3 has been confirmed for November, I think. I'm gonna be the only person who buys it. Waaaaaaaaah.

I really like Gears.  I am shit at mp, but the amount of time I have wasted with friends playing co-op is incredible.

And how is it generic?  The cover system seemed pretty new to me.

Cover systems like it have been around since the first Rainbow 6 in like 2000

[/quote]for me personally, I think gears' cover system flows a lot nicer than R6's, and it's still a damn pretty game, even if it was only meant to test the Unreal 3 engine

also don't care what anybody says, BK: Nuts and Bolts will be fucking awesome

Don't lie to yourself man.

RARE hasn't made a good game since Conker, and even that wasn't great.

IMO: Viva Pinata doesn't count.

Re: Release Date Schedule - Wedge - 08-08-2008

Difference between PoP and Mirror's Edge, is one of these will likely have a map editor.  So I'd go with the PC version.

Re: Release Date Schedule - Wedge - 08-08-2008

Also Puzzle Quest: Galactrix and Red Faction 3 though neither have exact dates yet.
