I use Azureus.  Haven't let it update in a while so it's fine for me.

Apparently all versions of µTorrent following 1.6.1 phone home on your torrent activities. I haven't bothered to check it myself, but that's just what I've heard.

I hope you guys aren't downloading anything high-profile.

OK maybe that was unfair....uhhhhh.....if you are downloading stuff that are less than legal.....OK screw that.  If you torrent illegal stuff sometimes the tracker is infiltrated by watchdog groups that do stuff like track down your IP or screw up your download by injecting crap data.  This puts up a firewall that specifically blocks those groups to keep you safe and not sued/blackmailed.

Also read the description next time.  Like thoroughly, not scimming.  I noticed all sorts of words and sentences that would have prevented making a dumb comment  :-*

I try to steer clear of torrenting shit now. Too much heat blows that way now. I'll only dive in if I really am lazy and don't want to use ulterior ways of procuring files.

I use utorrent also. I have no idea whether or not it's better than anything, I just use it.
