For me it would have to be:
Final Fantasy- I could never really get into grinding which is why I really have never finished many RPG's. Also disturbing feminine males will never replace my neckless muscled sir kill-a-lot protagonist.

takes issue with that statement.

I SEE A NECK!

Karth clearly has never played VI

Not planning on it anytime soon.

Tomb Raider. Boobs do not affect me, thereby rendering it powerless.

plz tell me you at least enjoyed DOA
I wish i could +1 you more than once in an hour, so i must wait.
I'll +1 him for you. DOA is a fun fighting game, dislike the volleyball for obvious reasons but in the fighting game I always play as the drunk guy.
Skip the fighting, go straight to the volleyball with unlockable string bikinis.   I don't care if you are gay honest, something must be appreciative about life giving boobs in pixialated form.  If not in an erotic sense, in an inquisitive one.
I'd probably just stare at them and go "Now I'm pretty sure boobs can't actually do that." and ruin the experience for everyone in the room. Like the guy who gives out the ending to a great movie.
Exactly how you just ruined my sarcastic joke Big Grin

<3, you're my favorite honest
<3 you too.

Also I hate The Sims. My life is boring enough, why show me that on my computer as a "game"

Re: Least Favorite Franchise? - jorge - 02-14-2009

World of Warcraft

Re: Least Favorite Franchise? - Wedge - 02-14-2009

Everything Blizzard has ever made.  Except Lost Vikings.

Re: Least Favorite Franchise? - ainmosni - 02-14-2009

 • The Halo franchise - For bringing mediocre PC games to a platform where they're actually the best of the bunch. (Still mediocre but not compared to other console fpses and soon rtses)
 • Final Fantasies after VI - Talk about a franchise that started to suck when it jumped to 3d... Actually all post SNES JRPGs can diaf

You should play 9 if you haven't. Story was easily on par with pre Playstation Final Fantasy games.

Halo - Because I already played Doom when I was 10
Sonic after 3D jump - Because 2D game companies can never ever keep glitches out and I DON'T CARE ABOUT MORE OF SONIC'S FRIENDS JESUS SHIT I JUST WANT TO GOES FAST AND JUMP ON THINGS
Any realistic sports game - I have to agree with Radio, HE'S ON FIIIIIRE was an awesome game though
Any fighting game where the learning curve goes past memorizing moves and combos into memorizing frames, counterglitches, etc. - So basically everything besides Smash Bros games, I shouldn't have to do homework to play a game on par with good players
Racing games that are not Burnout - crashing is bad, cops are bad, hitting pedestrians is bad, I'm basically just holding X while watching NASCAR

Re: Least Favorite Franchise? - Riosan - 02-14-2009

metroid prime - some of the most boring games i've ever played, needless backtracking everywhere, and only the first few hours where you don't cross an entire continent were fun

I loved the Metroid Prime games... mostly because the focus was less on shooting and more on exploring/searching...

Re: Least Favorite Franchise? - Surf314 - 02-14-2009

I was going to say McDonalds but now that I know it's about video games: any sports franchise.  Its the same game with updated graphics and rosters.  Besides that there haven't been any franchises that I've played that continually disappoint me.

I agree, but for a different reason. They don't play or feel like Metroid games, but like some adventure FPS hybrid, which I'm not a fan of. I'd be fine with them though, but the fact that it seems to have replaced the amazing 2D games grinds my gears.

Welcome to every metriod game ever made

Re: Least Favorite Franchise? - Badgerman of DOOM - 02-14-2009

Halo series- beyond mediocre, 2 is the only one that could be considered somewhat good.
GTA- entire series seems pointless to me
Imagine series- Just trying to be Nintendogs (actually could be quite entertaining) with other things
Most sports games in general
World of Warcraft- just... warcraft
Final Fanstasy- most are very well done, but must burn for becoming the only RPGs most people will ever hear about, and the only series that SqEnix will ever make good/decent sequels of. I WANT A TWEWY SEQUEL DAMNIT!

- World of Warcraft (I did like the other Blizzard games, though)
Because grinding to level is not fun, and being at the highest level isn't a lot more fun either.

- Halo
Because I'm not 12 anymore.

I don't know what else to add, I rarely think a game is bad.
I even like some sports game (as long as their hockey games), and some racing games too.

Re: Least Favorite Franchise? - Eschatos - 02-15-2009

Starcraft.  That is all.

Re: Least Favorite Franchise? - [fr31ns]Karrde - 02-15-2009

Grand Theft Auto series.  Despite some of the technical fixes since San Andreas.  For the life of me, I cannot get into these things.  I usually just end up stealing a car and going on a depraved killing spree.

That's funny because you can be competent at Street Fighter without knowing any of that, you just need to learn the initial moves, how to do a wakeup move and crossups with whichever character you're using, after that you really do not need to learn frame animation or anything, it's just there for people who want to go the extra mile

For the smash tourneyfag scene what makes it competitive is all the frame glitching stuff.

Re: Least Favorite Franchise? - Badgerman of DOOM - 02-15-2009

I hate tourneyfags.
