it actually depends on what kind of movies you like man... are you into art and accuracy?  or corporate hollywood bullshit that does nothing more than spray as much blood as they possibly can across the screen with no correlation to history whatsoever.

Depends on the movie, there are a lot of war movies that are fairly accurate, at least in they're portrayal of war. The actual characters may be altered, but the battle itself would be accurate.

Though I agree that indulgent violence does not a war movie make, you can scarcely say that art is about accuracy.
