Re: Happy Easter! - cannedpeahes - 04-11-2009

I'm with Dave.

My Easter consists of enjoying a Sunday free of screaming children, trying to ignore the fact that I live in an area on Earth where I am often told that I'm going to hell. I manage to enjoy it pretty well by sabotaging their good spirits with the knowledge that the whole tradition of Easter is predicated on Germanic paganism siphoned through channels of Catholic syncretism.

It's still a good holiday.

I'm calling shenanigans. I don't believe that Fyre would actually do something as controversial as going to church without asking us first whether it would make him cool.

On topic - I am grilling steak, then I might have a scotch and a cigar.

Seconded. +10.

He's probably also going to make a Creme de la Creme egg. Except Rummy will fill it with an Oban 12-year single malt.
