I might be "acquiring" this shortly, stay tuned on IRC later tonight

Re: BRB, Borderlands - Game Discussion & Guide - cbre88x - 12-16-2009

Should I consider buying this on a console then? Unless someone has a workaround for the AID's pack.

yea, but it's like this.

Would you rather pay $10 bucks for a prostitute that's perfectly healthy, or the prostitute with warts?

So few choices, I'd rather hold out for one that is healthy and free  :-*

[/quote]Yeah, if I know she's not going to stick around for a repeat performance there's no sense paying for it. That's how I see it, anyways.

Re: BRB, Borderlands - Game Discussion & Guide - Wrath Of Sandvich - 12-21-2009

I finally got the game for my birthday, and I have a question. How do you hook it up so you get achievements on Gamespy?

Re: BRB, Borderlands - Game Discussion & Guide - KarthXLR - 12-21-2009

uh, make a gamespy id?

Re: BRB, Borderlands - Game Discussion & Guide - Tricks - 12-22-2009

Without trying to rain on your parade, the achievements aren’t like steam achievements. They are frequently earned without having any knowledge of what you just did to earn them, and they are fairly easy to get. “Oh, there are some bird/bat things. I will shoot them. *achievement*” There is no in-game support for the achievements either (that I have seen) where you go out and check what you have earned, and other possible achievements that are possible to earn. It seems like it was added as an afterthought, instead of baked-in from the start.

I’m not hating on the game, I still get in 10 hours a week or so depending on certain people’s raiding schedules. *ahem*. Just don’t get too pumped for an achievement system that isn’t there.

I hate to rain on your rain, but achievments barely even matter, 1 achievment gives you like 100 cash moniez, but thats it.

It's not like TF2 where you must get everything to be cool

Where is this written, I must be incredibly uncool. Why didn't anybody tell me this?

You can check them, iirc it's another tab in the quest menu.
