It's pretty fragile and if you broke it, you were done listening to that album. Unless you had some special splicing tape, which never worked. So you had to wind the tape back in without a cassette player, because those dives spin both reels and you need to correct the imbalance, and because it only got that horrible prolapse when it was loaded into a malfunctioning player to begin with. A six-sided pencil or Bic Stic pen will fit into that reel hole, and makes an effective tool to spin the reel and hopefully wind the loose tape back up into the cassette. Otherwise, they're treading down Sony's path PSP-style.
There's still time for Nintendo to fix it if they actually listen to consumer feedback. The online shop needs overhauled in a bad way and they need to stop pussyfooting around with the digital game releases. Even though the online shop was pushed back months after the hardware release it still feels rushed and clunky. That's what Nintendo needs to focus on for now, not adding another fucking analog stick or making any other hardware adjustments. Take a page from Apple and Google and put some time into developing an attractive, user-friendly interface. Yes, the early adopters probably feel alienated, but that's all part of being an early adopter. You're getting the first gen and it's very likely to have some flaws. The first iPhone was far from perfect even if it was a major step for consumer smart phones and the first gen DS had some pretty noticeable flaws as well. If they can fix the more obvious flaws, round two might actually start to look better. Re: question for _________ - KarthXLR - 11-07-2011 (11-07-2011, 07:37 PM)Kor link Wrote:
sometimes one reel would unwind and the other one wouldn't take up the slack, so there would be some tape hanging out the bottom of the cassette. I like 50/50 but I just got some approx. 80% fat bacon and fried it extra crispy to the point where it's a little bit black. also like my bacon extra crispy, always. Same flavor as bacon, but a meatier textural experience. Damn I want some good food now. :'( I miss food adventures. Re: question for _________ - Dr. Zaius - 11-08-2011 burning bacon you all need to get the fuck out Re: question for _________ - matter11 - 11-08-2011 (11-08-2011, 02:18 AM)Dr. Zaius link Wrote: burning bacon You can have as much fun with your bacon cooked bendy as you can with your dick bendy. Burnt bacon tastes burnt and will probably give you cancer. A burnt dick dong also probably tastes burnt and would be horrible. tl;dr BURNT BACON =//= CRISPY BACON BURNT BACON << CRISPY BACON Re: question for _________ - Dr. Zaius - 11-08-2011 Didzo rolls natural 20 on sanity check.\ also +1 for the pun Re: question for _________ - Luinbariel - 11-08-2011 I don't like my bacon crispy actually. HeK does, but I find it kind of meh when it's crunchy. Re: question for _________ - Coelit - 11-08-2011 I like it chewy with a tad bit of crunch. Re: question for _________ - Vongore - 11-09-2011 We don't have the tradition of eating bacon. We mostly use bacon chopped on tiny bits to go with stews I think the only time i ever had bacon and eggs was on the US. Re: question for _________ - Dtrain323i - 11-09-2011 I like my bacon breaded and deep fried with some hot sauce Re: question for _________ - Eightball - 11-09-2011 Let me ask something. I enjoy bacon as much as the next fellow, for breakfast, in pastas, w/e. But something I never got: Why bacon burgers are so popular. For me, the burger is about the patty, the chuck, the beef. Is anyone else with me when I say that bacon overpowers the burger (sandwiches not counting)? Is anyone with me when I say that this vice is best enjoyed in its own, separate preparations and not combined with everything on the planet? (and that all these bacon products like baconnaise, bacon gum, bacon soap, are just wrong?) I love burgers, but I love bacon as well. I think it compliments the burger as opposed to overpowering it. Re: question for _________ - k0ala - 11-09-2011 The burger has to be spiced and seasoned almost as much as the bacon, in order to not be overpowered. Artifical bacon flavor IS wrong, because it usually comes with powdered MSG for reinforcement. Re: question for _________ - Luinbariel - 11-09-2011 I just pull the bacon off of a bacon burger and eat it separately. Otherwise, I don't even notice it. |
