That's what I get from the actual National Merit people. My university just gave out a ridiculous amount of full scholarships to finalists; over ten percent of my incoming class got one. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have qualified for it if I hadn't gone to high school in Arkansas. Thanks a lot for lowering the cut-off score, dumbass Arkansans.

Years ago a friend of mine in high school just barely made the cut for advanced classes and she struggled a lot with them. She moved to Oklahoma at the start of Junior year and second semester down there she was being bussed out to community college for half the day because things were too easy.
Got a good scholarship to Oklahoma State too, like I think 50 - 66% of Tuition & Board >

[/quote]UIUC has a quota from my parents' county. I had a 1380 SAT (on a the old 1600 scale), 31 ACT, 3.3 GPA and I didn't even get waitlisted. I call bullshit.

3. Got an apartment offer finally! (but more on that here)
4. Hitting some restaurants tonight
5. Not a heavy workload for the weekend, just a lab report and some readings.
