Re: Favorite TV Shows - Maxon - 01-18-2012

Watched Alcatraz last night and it seemed like an alright show. Time will tell if it continues to be watchable, but we'll see where the plot takes us.

Hopefully won't turn into the next Lost.

Re: Favorite TV Shows - Squishy3 - 01-26-2012

Touch was surprisingly good. If the rest of the show is like the pilot, color me hooked. Basically its a new show from the creator of Heroes and it's Kiefer Sutherland's return to TV. It's most accurately described as a kid who can see the red string of fate from Chinese mythology, which is basically a string tied around everyone who will interact in a meaningful way in life, be it they get married, have a profound impact on each other, etc. The first episode is available on Hulu until February 22nd. (Also, Danny Glover was in the first episode, and with the nature of his character he should be recurring on it.)

Watched season one of sherlock, It owns. Ton of throw backs to the old short stories and each episode is pretty much a movie.

I watched both, and was blown away. They've really set it a part from the previous show but maintained the same elements. Had a great moment in the second episode, where all I could do was laugh, because all I heard was Pure Sokka Gold. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season; the art, music, and writing is superb.

Re: Favorite TV Shows - Evil Cheese - 03-28-2012

Anybody else watching The Aquabats Super Show? That shit's hilarious in ways I can't describe. Think intentionally campy 90s live action shows crossed with Tim and Eric for kids. Did I mention that Matt Chapman (co-creator of Homestar Runner and Strong Bad) directs some of the episodes and Mega64 are involved? You don't even need to be intoxicated to enjoy it, although it might help.
