Re: The Movie Thread - Scary Womanizing Pig Mask - 07-22-2009 Finally saw the Prestige. It more then lived up to the hype :3 Re: The Movie Thread - Surf314 - 07-22-2009 (07-22-2009, 06:23 AM)CopulatingDuck link Wrote: Cemetary Man: Man, waking up from your grave as a zombie, only to find your extremely hot wife mid-orgasm riding the cemetary groundskeeper on top of your grave shouting "I've never felt this good before!" has got to suck. Oh shit this is by the guy that wrote Dylan Dog. I must see it now. Re: The Movie Thread - Surf314 - 07-22-2009 Oh shit they are doing a for real Dylan Dog movie to be released this year!!!!!!!!! Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 07-25-2009 Finally saw Moon tonight. Came out happy, film lived up to all my expectations. ;D Re: The Movie Thread - Luinbariel - 07-25-2009 (07-25-2009, 12:01 AM)Karth is Ego Tripping link Wrote: Finally saw Moon tonight. Time for bed. Re: The Movie Thread - JoKeRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR - 07-25-2009 My awesome review of movies that I watched in the past week for the first time: Oldboy is jawesome. A Clockwork Orange is awesome but I don't know how I should feel. the Girlfriend Experience is boring, second viewing was much more awesome than the first for some reason. Man on Wire is very good not awesome though. Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 07-25-2009 Alice In Wonderland Official Teaser Trailer (HD) 720p Not sure if I should be excited considering that most of his movies after Sleepy Hallow sucked. Re: The Movie Thread - copulatingduck - 07-25-2009 Cube series was mildly interesting, probably not worth watching all 3 movies in a single night (they all have the same plot ) Re: The Movie Thread - Coppanuva - 07-25-2009 (07-19-2009, 06:22 PM)Geoff link Wrote:
I watched the trailer and it looked kinda meh. then i saw it was from the same guy that wrote No Country For Old Men and now i cant wait.
I think that trailer is a huge misrepresentation of the actual story. The book is actually really slow and atmospheric, and I think the movie will follow that pretty well. The people who made the trailer obviously feel that people just want guns and explosions, so they only used footage from the few short action-y parts and added some tense music over it.
Yeah, I watched the trailer and was like wtf? Great book though, even if it makes you feel like you just got punched in the gut after reading it.
Yes! I am going to see this movie so much. I just read the book last year (extra credit reading assignment for AP English, always good to take advantage of), and was sad when the movie got delayed from a November release, but it looks great. Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 07-26-2009 Finished up The Shawshank Redemption last night. Easily one of the best films I've ever seen. and for hek and Luin: Tron Legacy - Comic Con HD Preview Re: The Movie Thread - Luinbariel - 07-26-2009 (07-26-2009, 02:31 PM)Karth is Ego Tripping link Wrote: Finished up The Shawshank Redemption last night. Will let you guys know how it is. Re: The Movie Thread - Surf314 - 07-31-2009 http://filmdrunk.uproxx.com/2009/07/cameron-diaz-box-has-a-big-red-button This movie looks a lot better than I thought it would. Re: The Movie Thread - Coppanuva - 07-31-2009 Funny People is definitely worth seeing. It's a pretty funny movie, especially if you're smart enough to catch on to some of the jokes that go above what most people would think are funny. I was laughing at times the rest of the theater was silent. Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 07-31-2009 (07-31-2009, 11:20 PM)Coppanuva link Wrote: Funny People is definitely worth seeing.
