Fight Club is the only movie I've ever seen that I actually liked better than the book. The ending was better, and the mindfuck is much more effective when you've been watching two actual people interact with each other.
Actually I also liked Minority Report more than the short story it's based off of, but other than the initial plot set-up the movie is completely different.

We're going to go see Year One in the shitty little theater in our hometown. I can't wait to see if it's changed at all... and to set up empty coke cans and shoot spitballs at them on the stage up front if at all possible.
