Unless I did my math wrong, yeah, 39 months. Doesn't hold a candle to those guys that preordered DNF 10 years prior to release, but it's a respectable second.

6/7/2009. And the wait was/is totally worth it because few games have come close to how wonderful the free NS1 was.*

Also, super glad they are going for an October/Halloween release timeframe. That's canon.


*for comparison, now that Guild Wars 2 is out, I totes wish I had the $59.99 I spent on Diablo 3 back. Not that D3 was bad...just doesn't have legs. For a game made with a much larger budget and with more time than NS2.

Flayra made a video explaining what us oldies get.  Hope it releases on Halloween.  Come play with me tho.  Also we should run some great BRBU NS2 giveaway.

Uh, link the video? I can't find it. Found it, although to find when it doesn't mention anything about flayra or the preorder in the description. Annoyed they didn't email me directly, but I'll live.
