Also, Caff should start playing now and get geared up, in less than 6 months the warzones will be out and more the type of thing he is looking for. The instanced stuff is fun though, you guys should make an agency for AvA.

Man assault is definately not a tank, anybody who thinks it is should not be playing this game.
I already have a level 19 assault character and he's been killed 1 on 1 by a robotics class

2) at level 19, you don't have enough skillpoints or gear to properly tank. Link me your character on Agentstats and I'll tell you what you're doing wrong. And if this is you, you don't even HAVE a lvl 19 Assault. You were playing medic, and your argument is invalid.
3) unless you know how to fight a robo, you'll get killed 1-on-1 by one, especially if he's higher level than you, because he's got turrets & drones helping him out, so your argument is invalid.

That's not my character. It's "Turtleee" and i tried looking for my character but apparently i have a level 12 assault? Maybe it hasn't updated it or something i'm not really sure, but i played with Titan today and i got to level 21.

And you're an epic retard, you don't have ANY of your skill points assigned. Thats why you can't tank.

I found a loadout that is pretty damn amazing except when people want me to set up defenses. All bots, all bot skills, shotgun. Throw down a bot, shotgun, shotgun, shotgun, bot, shotgun, shotgun, shotgun, win. This is the first loadout that got me top kills by a wide margin. I've made assault classes run in fear 1v1.

It's almost better though to go drop 7 points in balanced, then spend the extra points in the drone tree, than it is to go all drones, because you get significantly more power and protection, and an extra -15% cooldown. Stack that with the -20% you get in the drone tree and find some decent duration drones, and you're sitting pretty with a drone out at all times.
I usually run 7-3-3, Rocket-Med-Power (see my sig image up above to see what I take). I'm a mean bastard when it comes to placement of that rocket turret, it's usually shooting at opponents in Merc PvP from behind.

also, atom, i reset my points and put in most of it to tank, now i am actually a tank, absorbed 40000 damage and not a single death in a pvp

Basically you set up your shit and defend it fairly nicely and then a cloaked jerk comes up and drops an EMP and a fire bomb on you. Now you are stunned, your shit doesn't work, and it's on fire. Oh and the cloaked jerk? He is stabbing the shit out of you with his win sword. And that is just if he is working alone. A lot of recon ninjas work in pairs.
