Heavy should be able to pass out sandwiches and form a picnic in which he can invite other people and the other team over to tell stories and sing songs and what not.

Bleh. Rumor has it that the new game type is a 5 on 5 death match type game called Arena.

When I heard they'd have five maps for the new gametype, I figured it'd be something small like this.

To quote Raoul Duke from that thread...

Although, the worst update could still be great Wink I'm just going to wait and see...

holy shit do fucking want.

Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - cbre88x - 08-14-2008

It looks like it would be too open for me to snipe alone. I'll go ahead and say I'll probably be helping defend engi bases by long distance shots..that way if a spy decides to take me out..he dies doing it unless he gets to the sentries first.

I think it's shaping up to be the worst update so far...

http://steamgames.com/tf2/heavy/natascha.htm

In an effort to make the heavy more viable on his own, it seems Valve made him even more effective against classes he already does well against (scouts, medics, anyone he catches off guard). What they didn't fix was him getting ruined by any of the other heavy-hitters (soldier, demo, sniper). And it seems they're trying to suggest that you play THIS heavy as an ambush class. WTF? Fail.
