Oh hell yes Phantom. Good action, multiple choice branches on a surprisingly easy to understand storyline, and INTENSE HOOKSHOT ACTION. I didn't even know it was a comic series until years later.

It was fun, and had the feel of the classic batman cartoon, I remember screaming in frustration several times at my television for its difficulty, but it's not like that's anything new: Old games were hard.

+1 for the next couple post for actually having played the game. Oh, and as far as I'm concerned, Phantom 2040 has the best hookshot/wall grapple controls ever. Another thing, I've beaten this game like, 15 times over the years, and I replayed it last year and got a new ending with a boss and levels I'd never seen before. That. Is. So. BAD. ASS.

Because that game wasn't supposed to be called Starfox until like the last month, where they scrapped the original idea, changed the skins and slapped Starfox on it

I played the multiplayer at a friends house when it came out and I could've sworn he was an unlockable character we used. He also might have looked like, 60 years old as well. At first I thought that was because it took place awhile past the other games, but then I realized that nobody else aged. I don't remember.

Peppy is high jumping, decent speed, good piloting. And a fairly early unlock if I remember. Wolf is easymode.

I didn't mind Command so much. It was pretty good for what it was. My major gripe is that they went all Sonic and threw in several needless new characters
