False alarm - unless I can find some way to download the .gcf files to my server directly (without uploading them from home) it isn't going to be online

No worries anyway. It looks as though I'll be hosting. It only allows 10 slots according the listen settings, so only 9 slots open. If we get that many people, great! Knowing my luck, the power will go out or something...

in the future, feel free to set up the green box for mod night. I will put a modnight/ directory into the home folder and you guys can use that. Caff has the logins for the server. I personally don't play mods very often though.

Well, modnights are due to start in about 10 minutes or so. I have the server up, so people should be able to just connect instead of waiting for my go ahead. I hope to see some of you turn up for this. If this is your first time playing Synergy, remember to go to Game List on the main menu, make sure ep2 content is mounted, then restart synergy. FUN
