Nice!

Especially if it's a hatchback with a manual.

No, and... no. =S

I'm a student, why would I want a hatchback? The lighter the better: I spend less for gas!
Manuel would go in that way, though... I just never learned how to drive it, and it's not like I got to pick (and I don't think I should get picky about it either)

Re: Present Thread - Didzo - 12-31-2010

A hatchback would give you better utility, and a stick would do your Italian heritage proud.... and give you better gas mileage (if you shift early).

And learning stick isn't horrible.

+1 for everything.  You don't really gain much weight with a hatch over an identical sedan model.

P.S. I learned to drive a stick while shopping for my car.  The car I bought was the third car I drove I think, and I only stalled it when doing a 1235 point turn to turn around on a back road.

The 06 3 Sedan is 60 kg (132 lbs) lighter then the sport (hatchback), which would be similar to driving around with an extra passenger all the time.
However, the manual transmission sedan is rated for 11% better highway mileage then the similar hatchback....

:o
over 60lbs?
WAHT
I think sedans have less resistant aerodynamics though, which is why hatchbacks are desirable for rally cars.  No clue if I'm correct in my thinking or not.
