Awesome, I know you guys were there last year but I hadn't even started playing TF2 at that point.
Are you planning to sell all weekend? It seems like such a bore sitting there for 3 days.

You may live/go to school up there, but at least for Karrde and I its a 3 - 4 hour drive, so yes, we will be spending the weekend

I don't think I've ever been to a con where I have not spent the weekend  Wink

Some people choose to only sell for a day in the artist alley, so I was just wondering. It wasn't really a question of whether you were planning on staying at the con for the weekend, but just selling. I know a lot of people who sell in the artist alley at Geek Kon and they say that they have to miss almost every event/panel; so I imagine it being dull working in the artist alley the entire con.

I'll be there pending the ability to get time off for it that is Tongue  But I intend to be there.  Working on a steam punk themed costume right now which I'll probably enter the masq with.

Ah sorry, my bad, yea I thought about that, but if you can split the table...or have other friends at the con you should be able to get time away to do other things. I'd gladly take what I could get...one day or otherwise.

Oh and some non-picture highlights


- Pie is hilarious when drunk, especially at hentai panels that involve lots of rape
- You can never have enough cups
- Queer Beer tastes FABULOUS
- Eightball may be a furry or gay (depending on booze levels)
- Photoshoots start early
- Its o.k. to let a much smaller photo group take over your space and push you to the side area
- Don't let Versus mix 5 Hour Energy and Booze
- Next year, try to get a suite
- Need to invite more randoms to parties...the one guy that did show was pretty chill though
- Moonshine is surprisingly tasty
- Your props will break
- Get more sleep pre-con, so you can run on little sleep for the next 3 days...
- Gratuitous ass-photos are encouraged
- You will never get into the rave/dance, unless you have boobs or are willing to wait 3+ hours
- Groups always make for getting more pictures taken of you
- Asking if there is a staff price will get the room reserved at that price, they won't even ask...nor will they charge you extra for a minifridge
- Always make sure you checked the 'double room' box when booking a room

Yes, that's why screw drivers, in my case, and super glue will always be your friend and forever part of your con packing prep.

Also a silver marker can, and will come in handy for props.  At least for items that are suppose to me metal like guns, flame throwers, proton packs.  You can use the marker to cover up any and all scratches to look like weathering
