Just the serial number, Asus keeps everyone on file, so you give them your serial number and they will look it up.
All motherboards and VGA cards are good for three years
Edit: Also what bacon said, it will either be on the box, on a sticker attached to the mobo/card, or engraved into the part itself

WD is usually pretty good about replacing dead drives, but I think they've only got like a 3-year warranty. My dad's managed to get them replaced 4 years out though, so YMMV.
