I'm really starting to get sick of all the Phelps hype here in the States, especially from NBC. Yeah I got it, he's a machine, yeah he's breaking number of gold medal records, I've heard it at least 80 times by now. What really pisses me off is the way NBC is treating the other athletes. I was watching an interview with Ryan Lochte about the 4X100m freestyle relay and the reporter was like, "how does it feel going down in the history books as helping Phelps beak the record for most gold medals", and Lochte was like, "WTF? I didn't do it for Phelps." Stuff like that is why American mass media makes me facepalm. Hard.
