I've played punchout, my point is they seem to have reskinned Wii boxing and added special moves. I guess if the controls are better it would be nice, but it still seems like it would get boring after the novelty wore off.

New Punch-Out!! has normal NES style controls. I'm happy now. I was really worried I would be forced to use sucky ass motion controls.

The only problem I have with it is based on the video it looks like the gameplay is completely recycled from the old game. New graphics are pretty but I'd just buy it off wiiware or whatever if they don't add anything gameplay wise.
Plus most of the fun was trying to figure out how to beat impossible fighters, now that I know it won't be the same.

Hey I beat this game before there was a game faqs. All their attacks look to be the same patterns, so us oldies are going to have a gamer instinct take over and beat this in no time flat.

Anyway, some returning fighters are shown, and they look great, and the Title Defense mode after the main game seems to be where all the meat is. All the fighters have a new twist and revised patterns making them much harder, a much more typical Punch-Out!! difficulty. Looks swell.
