It doesn't really matter, you just die within 2 seconds of seeing anyone in the actual game. Team Arena is fun though, start with 50 rockets + no self damage.

For me, it's kind of a disorientation thing. It took me two weeks to get the hang of it and after that I could get T5 in a fresh ranked game pretty consistently.
However I was able to reach the end of the line in the Training Arena, so judge from there.

I got through the training thing too, what's your point? DM sucks because you take half your deaths without ever getting a weapon and TA sucks because everyone is a Lightning Gun whore.
