the other day I sprinted about 200 meters through open terrain while cadre were lobbing arty sims at my squad toward a town where we suspected a high value target was hiding, at the end of the this run was building. Â Being the dude who carries around the saw, that makes me defacto breach man for some reason, so after kicking in the door, we cleared a 3000 sq ft building full of people with guns. Â while doing this i was wearing an IBA (27 lbs), a FLC with a bunch of MOLLE crap(6 lbs), 3 liters of water (12 lbs), ACH with NOD (8 lbs) my M249 (20lbs loaded 200 round drum) and an assault pack with 2 more drums of 5.56 and some other crap (10 lbs). Â I weigh 145 lbs right now. Â After leap frogging through a couple more buildings with another platoon, we captured the HVT, and moved off the objective under more indirect fire to the LZ half a mile away. Â We stepped off at midnight. Â The night before we did a 7 hour long patrol that covered 11 miles in the same gear. Â The night before that we did a night recon mission, that got compromised and involved lots of arty sims.
