Last night I crafted a

Probably my fav Soldier-specific hat, but fuuuuuuuuck... I REALLY like how the Modest Pile looks on the Soldier as is.  I can't decide which to pick.

Try what I do, pick a gun and it's unlockable (if you swap often) and have that determine the hat you wear.

If I'm flare pyro, I wear my brigade helm. If I'm using shotty, I wear my merryweather.

yes turtle I know the formula, and I've considered it, and that wouldn't make me hate scout less.

the scout getting a chainsaw will not make me hate the scout less.

The baker boy with a newspaper reskin for the bat. It eases the burden a hundredfold.
