on a related note, first meet last night.  waverly forfeited.  we decided to hold practice later in the night and eat all the food prepared for the meet.  we ran through the meet events instead of practicing.  I got last in all of mine, except I beat my friend in the 50.  victory never tasted so good.

I got my license Wednesday. I can drive when i want, where I want (as long as it's not between 11pm and 5 am excluding work or if someone 21 or older is in the car).

you see, there are three licenses to get in America.

Permit: Can only drive with an experienced driver
License: Can drive freely as long as you're not out between 11 pm and 5 am.
Graduated License: Allowed to drive at all times.

I didn't get my license until I was 17...I just wasn't really ready. Plus I lived in a small town where I could just walk everywhere.

This is funny because in FL living in a small town means you have to drive everywhere because we build out here (comes from having an agrarian culture I guess).
