World Miraculously Becomes Hollow: The Movie? The only questions I have about the trailer is why the plane pilot needs to fly as low as possible, and why the meteors only cause tiny ass explosions. Or are those volcano boulders?
They could call it Yellowstone or Apocalypse or Doomsday or We're going to die or anything besides making an apocalypse movie and saying it's going to happen in 3 years Re: The Movie Thread - HeK - 10-04-2009 (10-04-2009, 09:08 AM)Luinbariel link Wrote: Zombie land was pretty awesome! Even better was when I purchased our Zombieland tickets. Two tickets for the late-night first showing of Twilight: New Moon were attached. I guess some fangirls purchased the tickets in advance of the mid-November showing, but did not pull them off the printer. So now I was refunded money for a movie I will never see and used it towards concessions. Fun little Kurt Russler flick. Nothing amazing, but not half bad. First half of the movie is the best.
what about escape from LAÂ Escape From LA Trailer Re: The Movie Thread - rumsfald - 10-13-2009 When I heard about the surfing scene in Escape from LA, I boycotted it so as to not soil my memory of the Duke of New York (A-Number-One). So, I've never seen it. Same with all the Star Wars prequels. The negative press around Jar-Jar and darthbaby was so bad that I decided my childhood memories were better preserved intact. In my memories, there are no midichlorians. (and Han ALWAYS shoots first). I think Neil Young had it right, better to burn out (Nirvana), than to fade away (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam). So I've tended to avoid pathetic attempts to cash-in on nostalgia. |
