It's because Dota 2 is a life sucker, but I still have it installed on my laptop. I thought I had deleted it...I think Steam is playing games with me. Anyone who would be in a better position to gather up all the BRBuers; I'm just pulling managerial duty. Re: Dota 2 - Eschatos - 07-20-2013 Dota table top gaming is about to be a thing: Re: Dota 2 - Chief - 07-29-2013 got my shit slapped by pajkatt Re: Dota 2 - Totla - 07-31-2013 Semi-carry WR rules so hard. In other news I just had a great game followed by a really great game, which is nice because usually my team is full of people who have no idea how to play. It's amazing game after amazing game. NaVi vs TongFu game 3 today. Just wow.
That fountain hook on Gyro to get rid of Aegis was amazing
Re: Dota 2 - zaneyard - 08-11-2013 holy fuck that last game. Re: Dota 2 - Surf314 - 08-13-2013 I'm actually not happy at the meta that alliance is creating. It's very much based on split pushing and punishing 5 manning. It's kind of boring and can't really be countered that easily. Also wisp had a 100% winrate in the finals. Nerf incoming? I'm glad Alliance won though. Re: Dota 2 - zaneyard - 08-13-2013 I disagree. Although the split push wasn't really rat dota, rat dota has been around for a while. Base races are certainly exciting when it all comes down to a few seconds and navi just didn't react to what happened properly. Alliance didn't start rat dota and they certainly aren't bringing forth a new meta. Of course the splitpush is hard to beat when you don't have the draft against it. Long range initiators like clock, storm, and SB will absolutely destroy a single person split pushing. Once all the heros get ported over (Pit lord, techies), you can't really say that something doesn't have a counter because if it really didn't it won't be in the game long. Io is strong, but hard to play. I'd like to see weaker heros get a buff to see more competitive play than to have Io get nerfed. Re: Dota 2 - Chief - 08-13-2013 here's the heroes you'll see nerfed/reworked upcoming patch: batrider was 100% picked+banned. OD was the next up, but didn't really have a great win rate%, so maybe not him. but definitely visage and wisp, visage whose early game presence pretty much destroys any trilane he goes against with his nuke, and wisp who changes the game as soon as he hits 6 (and with np makes the game entirely unpredictable) with its wombo combo ult. batrider will probably see a skill reworked while the others will just see some numbers go a bit down (or cooldowns go up). like zane also said, you'll probably see some other heroes get buffed more so than these heroes getting nerfed, but i can see small number adjustments that will count as a small nerf Re: Dota 2 - Surf314 - 08-13-2013 (08-13-2013, 01:38 PM)zaneyard link Wrote: I disagree. As much as I like Alliance I really feel like Na'Vi deserved the 5th game win more. They won a rax the hard way and 2 global heroes get two rax easy.
