Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - Luca Shoal - 07-09-2012 Ohay car talk at the top of the page. I got into a small accident on my way to work this morning, and was late by an hour. I'm fine, the other lady was fine. Her car's fine save for a small crack on the bumper far as I can tell. And my mom's CRV needs to go to a body shop to get the hood fixed. It's drivable just fine, but the hood won't latch back in place. The little hook on it is pushed back like, 1/2". It's not major, mostly cosmetic as far as I can tell. I just can't pull the bit of metal forward far enough to have it fixed. Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - StolenToast - 07-09-2012 One of my classmates of only a couple years ago died in a car crash... But besides a vague sort of shock I don't really feel anything, which makes me feel bad. I keep seeing these posts from her friends on facebook about her but I never really knew her very well or anything, even though she was a super nice person and my class was only 40 people. I want to say something but I just don't know what. This post is horrible, I mostly feel bad for her closer friends who I know much better. :'( Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - HeK - 07-09-2012 (07-09-2012, 04:21 PM)Yip Yip Luca link Wrote: Ohay car talk at the top of the page. Hoods have this tendency to open from air pressure while driving.... and smashing the windshield. Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - Luca Shoal - 07-09-2012 Oh I am more than well aware of that, the hood on my 93 Civic is finnicky, but it holds. Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - k0ala - 07-09-2012 fucking got stomped in ugc this week. we worked hard on the map and had to use our backup players. the sourcetv demo didn't record, the other players were total dicks and we could have reported them to ugc with the sourcetv demo. this feels terrible and I'm going to make myself a better man out of wanting to get away from this burning sensation I feel. Sorry I had to. Losing sucks. Especially losing to a bunch of dicks. All dongs. Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - A. Sounds like a pretty normal way to feel about it. There is now a person shaped hole in the world, and how deep that hole is depends on how that person affected your life. So, while you see other around you dealing with a comparatively large void now, you're not greatly affected by this loss. Unless, you decide to change how you interact with your peers based on your perceived 'missed chance' to know this person better. Life can have meaning, but Death can have meaning, too. Usually, you're in control of one of half that statement, and those around you are in control of the other. And it's not always the same half. As for not knowing what to say, that's nothing out of the ordinary. I've always found, like most of life's problems- put it on the backburner, let it eat some idle cycles, the words you want will come. Just don't be one of those people that uses the grief counselors as a way to skip class. Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - Didzo - 07-10-2012 blegh Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - A. Crow - 07-10-2012 *THUD THUD THUD*  *screaming* *THUD THUD* "Damnit, I'm going to have to put on clothes for this one" I open the front door to see one of the kids from upstairs crying, "HELP MY BROTHER'S DADDY IS TRYING TO KILL MY MOMMY!"  Fuck. So that's been my morning.  Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - Dtrain323i - 07-10-2012 (07-10-2012, 11:53 AM)LT Crow link Wrote: *THUD THUD THUD*  *screaming* *THUD THUD* Were guns drawn? Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - Luca Shoal - 07-11-2012 A continuation of my post from Monday. Other lady got away with basically a scratch on her car. The radiator (that just got replaced) on my mom's car got punctured. $3500. 1k more and they would have just written it off as totaled. Fucking hell. Thank goodness for insurance at least. I hope it's not to bad.. Re: The "Fuck my life" thread - k0ala - 07-12-2012 Just feeling like I'm not good enough for anyone.
