Mark your calendars, I agreed with something face said, Tremors 1 or 2 would be great for a Sci-Fi B movie

That or Evil Dead 1, 2, or 3 (Preferably Army of Darkness)

No, while I don't claim to be a dune expert (lol), the worms there were more benign and never really actively tried to eat people.

In tremors the worms were much smaller than those in dune and actively would 'suck' people underground and eat them

Dune
Tremors

You see, you all misunderstood what I meant by groups of 10 or less.

I meant, if we have more than 10 people who want to watch, just split them in two groups. No problem.

Hmm... that might work. Though if we can get more people on vent instead, why not just use that? It'd be more amusing that way.

It's just that, for me, Vent messes with mics. They're either too quiet or not quiet enough, and people rarely try to fix them.

On skype, everything just sounds cleaner.

This I did not know.

But aside from that, it doesnt matter that much.

Now, on to the next step of business, let's get some nominations for movies round up and make a poll.

Aw hell, I'll just make a poll.

Also, does anyone mind if we move the date to saturday night?

I can make it Saturday night.

Technically they can hold the same amount, provided the person hosting the skype call has a fat enough pipe for the relay, but in this instance, vent wins

That's personally what I had in mind when I originally thought up the concept. It's one of the few days we don't have an event (Might I suggest Cinema Saturdays? It has a nice alliteration when read out loud), and nights are better for movies.
