Regular referees aren't that much better as indicated by what I saw tonight.

It was actually a couple of bad calls.
I just dislike having referees in general since it means the outcome of the game could potentially be affected by people who are not even playing.
This is why I play ultimate. Self-officiated and only use observers at very high levels of competition (e.g. nationals).
