Re: Sonic Generations: OPEN YOUR HEART! Edition - Maxon - 11-07-2011

Since MW3 isn't out till the 11th, I'm thinking of grabbing this later today for rent, so I'll be able to share my experiences then.

Oh...Weird, I know Gamestop had the 8th on their posters, but I was just at Walmart and it said 11-11-11 on it, so I thought the date got pushed back a couple days lol

*EDIT*
Well I played three levels as both Sonics and gotta say it's pretty good.  I never played Sonic Colors and the demo for Sonic 4 was only okay, so this is certainly the best Sonic I've played in a very long time.  Both of them have very different styles to levels, they both get their own challenge gates, so there's alot of replay to it and it is just how I want a Sonic game to be.  There are classic characters, no awful story or boring open world things other than you get to run to zones you want, it just seems well done.  I don't see how any Sonic fan could be disappointed with this game aside from ones who will never be happy with anything new that is Sonic branded, cause they have such a hard on for the Genesis classics.  It's all speed, it's Sonic, simple enough for me.

Re: Sonic Generations: OPEN YOUR HEART! Edition - Squishy3 - 11-07-2011

everyone should buy this game for PC to support even better budget pricing for PC titles

Made a speedrun!

Sonic Generations- Crisis City Speedrun (1:54.74)

Damn that level's fun.

Dah, this will work. I'm liking it so far.

Yeah, definitely. Physics are spot on, game's fun, nostalgia'd all over the keyboard multiple times, what's not to love about it?

And Joystiq can go jump off a building. This replayability is really something too. Running through several times trying to get that perfect time, only to find another shortcut you missed. I ended up pretty much memorizing every level doing speedruns of each of them, so now I'm waiting for Sega to throw out some DLC of new levels so I can throw more money at em.

Dr. Robotnik's a former cyborg in the Saturday morning Sonic cartoon; when he was de-roboticized his eyes stayed that color. In the other versions, he usually hides his regular blue eyes behind dark goggles.
