Also i've read that the golden key is a one shot item to open the chest in Sanctuary. It will give you a guaranteed Purple item scaled to your current level when you open the chest. I thought you might get 1 key per character , but no .. its just one key for the account.

Never got an email from GMG but checked it today and there was a code there. Preloading now.
One of the more interesting things is they acknowledge that the Cage the Elephant song basically sold Borderlands, and it wouldn't have been successful without it.

Also, if you watch the original Borderlands trailer, you can see they kept the same designs for practically everything and only changed the artstyle to the cel-shaded one we now have.

It was a good song that fit the game well, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that Borderlands would've failed without it (especially since that's a Kotaku article where the author is just stating his opinion with no support whatsoever).
