Heres my logic

- The vote is essentially 50/50
- Of those voting 'Yes' many stated #1 only
- The nerf occurred Friday night
- Because of the corresponding time of the patch people did not get enough time to play with the 'new' sandman to form another judgment

Patch notes

Its a fairly large nerf and I'd like to give everyone a week or so to play with it, if people still feel we should re-vote I'll post a new thread. I wasn't anticipating valve to make a patch so quickly. It would be like the last time we discussed removing the backburner and by the time we had reached a consensus, they removed the 50 health, so there was no point to going into it further.

I apologize if anyone who dislikes the sandman is upset by this, and as I've said, we can reopen the issue for another vote next weekend after the nerfed version has gotten a bit of play time. Again, thanks to everyone who voted and stated their opinions.

The sandman belongs on #2 with all the crappy maps and all the other crappy things that people enjoy (#2 is sometimes more populated anyways).  Make #1  more competitive than a joke and get ride of sandman. If you get ride of it, people will come!

In my experience playing recently, the nerf worked.  It's much less frustrating for everyone else now, and it seems like the scouts are still saying it's useful and fun.  Agree?  Disagree?

Pyro update ruined übercharges a bit because of the airblast... but no pyro uses it because they are too pro.

Now this update makes things worse, because most scouts use the baseball, and they're not that hard to aim. I say they should at least fix the fact that it stops übercharges, then I might agree.

As much as I don't like the uber stun, I think the current state of affairs for the sandman is good enough for regular play on all servers.

That's as dumb a fix as 50% resistance to damage was. Valve would probably implement this
