It's actually one of the easiest classes to fuck up if you get close to them (why do you think scouts have to protect their demo in 6v6), or aggress at the right times (eg when he's reloading everything), plus he's got a tough learning curve. He's just got high firepower. </rant> As for crits, I'm pretty sure the aggregate rage induced by being screwed by random crits exceeds the joy of firing them. I find solider to be the overpowered one, demomen are pretty easy to chew on if you play smart. When it was in the ceiling, due to a physics bug, the explosion got much larger, both in radius and damage, so basically if you threw one into the floor under the sniper deck on 2fort, it would basically gib any sniper still there when it went off. |
