I'll just leave this here. It comes out today. (I'm buying it)

I'll buy it if a decent number of brbuers also do. I'm not spending $40 to play a game twice.

[/quote]I've only ever played against my roommate in College, and that was 5 years ago. None of the BRBuers that played ever had any interest in playing with me (see also: Borderlands, L4D, L4D2, Killing Floor, Alien Swarm...).

I'm buying it because playing SP was fun.

You should check out Endless Space on Steam.  Still in beta, but only $25ish and it's really good space 4x.

I just remembered what a huge time sink this game was. It was great, but I dunno if I can afford that kind of time.

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire - Eschatos - 06-20-2014

So I'm sure a few people got this as part of the Summer sale, in addition to everyone who already has it. Who feels like joining me for a game tonight or tomorrow?

As long as it isn't craptastically long, sure.

Didzo and Kor play, as far as I know. Could see if they're interested as well.

Also DLC highly recommended, more variety (planets, research, random events, uninhabitable sectors, star types) for just $5 while it's on sale.

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire - Didzo - 06-20-2014

I am down to play tonight probably maybe.

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire - Eschatos - 06-22-2014

Our first Sins night in a long time was a success*.

If we get one more next time we can actually do a competitive game rather than attempt a comp stomp.

*Success in that people showed up, then we got our asses kicked by AIs twice in a row.

I'll join on the next one, but be forewarned I'm pretty bad  :p

You already missed it. Tongue

Definitely playing again though, good thing we solved the lag.
