it's still usable after the 30 days, just need to wait 5 seconds for the 'continue' button to become enabled. you could always not find a crack for it

I walked dave through it once but now I use iirsi. You just have to set it up to connect to gamesurge which it doesnt have on the list. Go to www.gamesurge.net and create an account and use the java client to get on and talk to people. Maybe then someone can tell you how to set up mIrc.

yeah and im a simpleton, i know caff users mirc, he will know how
and ain knows pretty much anythign else about computers.

Did you try http://www.mibbit.com ?
Go there, click Server, and for the Server Address type in
irc.gamesurge.net
Give yourself a nick, set the channel to #brbuninstalling and then try connecting. Hope that helps. :^)
edit: or you can try installing the Chatzilla plugin for firefox and then send your browser to:
irc://irc.gamesurge.net/#brbuninstalling
