Re: OUR WEBSITE DESIGN - FIRST VERSION - COMMENT! - ainmosni - 06-10-2008 Well, a nice custom CMS would be nice... We also need a BRB,u logo though and maybe, like joel said, make it less tf2 specific and more gaming general, PC gaming preferred off course. [/quote] Tell Scotty to put Ruby on the server then Re: OUR WEBSITE DESIGN - FIRST VERSION - COMMENT! - WTF Joel - 06-10-2008 Ok, here is a second design I worked on today, and to be honest I like this one way more.. Re: OUR WEBSITE DESIGN - FIRST VERSION - COMMENT! - CaffeinePowered - 06-10-2008 I like it, but Im curious as to a way to parse the calender from Steam, it would be nice if there was some way to use steam to make the posts/info on the calender. Re: OUR WEBSITE DESIGN - FIRST VERSION - COMMENT! - Wedge - 06-10-2008 It's ooookay... don't really like the header graphic though. Is that default windows clouds in the background??? Maybe go take a shot of your desktop with furry porn wallpaper instead. Re: OUR WEBSITE DESIGN - FIRST VERSION - COMMENT! - WTF Joel - 06-10-2008 I could do that I suppose. And then paste that onto a screen of tf2... o.o Re: OUR WEBSITE DESIGN - FIRST VERSION - COMMENT! - ScottyGrayskull - 06-11-2008 (06-10-2008, 02:21 PM)WTF Joel link Wrote: Ok, here is a second design I worked on today, and to be honest I like this one way more.. I really like the layout. I will agree with others on the font and colour choices. Personally I'd think something closer to the Steam colour palette, although of course a little different. Or maybe the forum colours, even though they might change. The font is kind of cool and casual and I like that, but something just a little more immediately legible might be a better idea. Re: OUR WEBSITE DESIGN - FIRST VERSION - COMMENT! - ToiletDuck - 06-11-2008 mind if i play with the layout a little bit joel? i just wanna mess with the colours and fonts by using that screenshot. edit: nice work though, i dig it way more than the original :-X |
