I wasn't in with the ladies till college then suddenly chicks with boyfriends flocked to me.  Dunno why.
Way it always works. And then you become their best friend and you can never date them. Especially since you get along with them and share the same interests and everything. And they still date a douchebag. RIGHT GUYS?

LOLOL, oh wait I meant to quote Budr too.  Damn.  This is awkward.

Also you know what works but shouldnt?  Be a dick.  Not like a huge douchebag.  But if you can't say F off to a chick you are too available and they are not interested.  I think it works like this.  There is this great candy in the pantry but oh shit the icecream truck is driving by and I'm going to miss them I can have candy tommorow.  Then she ends up having sex with the ice cream man in the back of the truck.  What?  The metaphor totally works.

I just joined this forum and usually I'm a lurker, but I saw this and knew, JUST KNEW I had to clarify.

I'm a female and yes, sometimes we can be fucktards but, so can men. Trust me, once a guy finds a chick who is actually pretty laid back, doesn't take five hours to get dressed, plays video games with them, loves geeky activities, doesn't drag him out shopping and is above average looking, they don't know how to handle it.

So yeah, maybe chicks do date assholes, but guys don't know how to handle a laid back type of girl, so I've secretly decided that despite all you dudes who complain about women, you all secretly love being treated like shit, having someone drag you to Ikea *shudders* and being denied sex.

Just offering another perspective...
[/quote]

That makes more sense IMO.

Maybe the whole problem is just communication.

People seem to be afraid to speak their minds even to their partners or potential future partners; right then and there I think there's a huge problem. I'm not saying you have to be hugely open and honest about everything, but I -AM- seeing a lot of people talk about how they acted a certain way, were dumped, and didn't learn until later that their actions were causing another to be uncomfortable. Both parties could have asked if they thought something was off; maybe just a few words or questions could have warded off a whole break-up, changed everything.

Anyway, yes.

Re: The most emo thing you've ever done. - Budr - 09-17-2008

I get so lonely and confused. I've written a poem about it, maybe you'll understand:

Why do nice girls hate me?
Wh... wait, what? I thought this thread was for pointing and laughing at emos not bitching about being too much of a pussy to talk to a female. I can't move in here for teenage angst. MTFU.

Not true, I didn't have any issues.

Quote:I think it's time we so-called 'sensitive men' stopped kiddin' ourselves with all this crap about how guys in Marines and garage mechanics and, you know, just generally macho guys – about how they're insecure about their masculinity because they have little dicks, because that's crap and we all know it.

Guys in the military, construction workers, football players – they have bigger dicks than you and I, and we might as well just accept it.
Because it is stupid and dishonest for us to go around implying that us literary, intellectual, politically aware, feminist-type men are actually more confident than the insensitive, sexist, brute-type men because size doesn't matter, and even if it did, we have the bigger dicks, because this is bullshit.

I think it is high time we all took a good hard look at our dicks and faced the music.

Ask yourself if your dick is as big as, say, that guy who beat the shit out of you in high school who is now married to some absurdly attractive woman you're too 'enlightened' to admit you lust after and who would never give you the time of day because, stupid as you might think she is, she's smart enough to know how little your dick is; she's smart enough to know that that guy who beat the shit out of you in high school, and would beat the shit out of you again in a second, has a much bigger dick and is a much better lay than you could ever hope to be, so: just admit it.

You'll feel better once you accept it. I admit it. I accept it.
And I'm not about to watch basketball games on television or join the Army or vote Republican just for the sake of a few extra inches.

Forget it. It's not worth it. It's just not worth it.
