So my best friend Connor moved to this shitty ass place Dansville (it's really boring, like people hunt there for fun and shit (no offense to anybody who hunts but you really dont need a day off for it)) and it was kind of rough at first, especially since he has a girlfriend. For the most part she is okay even though i kind of hate her and they have been going out for a while which is cool because they're a great couple and all. Anyway at first she had a rough time with him moving because now he lives like 40 minutes away and shit but they were able to make it work, at least until recently...
Yesterday i was hanging out with my boo thang* who is friends with Connor's girlfriend and she let it slip that apparently my buddy's girlfriend has been cheating on him for the past couple weeks or so with other dude(s).
That shit made me really mad, but it's especially frustrating because they have been dating for over a year, and normally high school relationships don't last nearly half that so to think that she would just straight cheat on him was ridiculous, but i decided that in order to not cause a shitload of drama i would confront her and explain to her that she needs to cut this shit out
So today i confronted his girlfriend and she actually lied and told me she hasn't been fucking around with other guys, but this dude has been flirting with her way more than normal and she's okay with it because she's unhappy with Connor. So, because I knew this was a lie, I told her she needs to stop all of this messing around or whatever she is doing right the fuck now and if she does stop, I will not tell Connor for the sake of their relationship. She said okay, then literally 2 hours ago I get a call from my boo thang saying "why did you yell at Liv, she told (man she has been cheating with, who is actually an okay guy except for the whole being the cheatman) and then he told me to stay out of his business, you can't tell anybody because i told them i wouldn't." Also she told me apparently they went and fucked around RIGHT AFTER I TALKED TO HER ABOUT IT.
So now, here I sit, hiding the fact that the only girl my best friend has really ever dated is cheating on him with a dude who's not even a huge asshole, and I can either 1) tell my best friend and sit through months and months of an absolute shitfest of a break-up or 2) say nothing and PRAY TO THE HEAVENS that his girlfriend stops cheating on him before I lose my fucking mind
It's really not fun.
*plus side is i had sex with my boo thang which was fun
