You know that thing you never want to happen at your job? Well it happened to me and I'm now dealing with the fallout. Looks like I'm working late tonight. I know this sounds funny but at least it was only a bunch of stupid mistakes and typos mostly blame-able on not updating the report in the report building software properly. I'd rather by a dummy than incompetent.

Edit: positive response from my apology e-mail so good news?

I did some redoes. Actually we didn't want them because I was super busy so we bid high and got them. It was like I was a dog and I actually caught the squirrel and didn't know what to do with it. Then I busted my ass and got them done on time but just found out it was full of mistakes, mostly from information from the last time I didn't know was in there or wasn't updating properly from the excel file.

Edit: I guess from the bank's prospective it probably feels like they paid too much for shitty work, but I the results reported I feel are solid. I think I'm going to talk to my boss about dropping the fees though since the only reason why we bid high was to not get it, and we got it.

have you ever talked with a sergeant first class about a new dress?  The ones that keep their marriage together have a surprising skillset.

The Sergeant who works in the cubical on the other side of the tall-wall from me is transsexual. Also 7 feet tall without heels and about 50.
It's kinda like the Miss Doubtfire of Airforce historians.
