Okay so... The Darkness 2 demo just came out and I tried it out because I had nothing else better to do and I gotta say... god damn this is the most refreshing shooter I've seen in years. Everything's so dynamic and the guns are semi-disposable, more relying on your demon powers to dice enemies into tiny bits. The art style itself is a very nice change of pace with a cell-shaded style that sorta reminds me of a darker more twisted XII. Then to top things off, asides from the low FoV (which I bet there's a way to change it somehow) the PC version is extremely optimized and very well done.
I went in not knowing anything, left extremely impressed. Now I want more. They got a 4-pack for $150 so is anyone else interested so we can split the cost?
