Here's a question, is it bad that, on a free icon I'm doing for someone, when I ask for a ref picture to use & "get Oh you can find it in my gallery" I don't want to do the icon for them? I mean I don't want to go look threw their gallery to look for a pic to use, wasting time on something when I told them to send to me on the first place. O-o

Not at all, you offered to do something for nothing, and they told you to work to do what you were willing to do for free....

Wait that doesn't make any sense, uh.. Eh, sum it up to No, it's not wrong at all, I just cant explain it.

how long would it take you to make on of the plushes? The ones that actually look like the characters are going for around $200  :o
I don't know anything about sewing but it still seems like this could be a well paying ebay business.

I did a test pattern of an espeon thats 1:1, giving it to Striker at Youmacon

Its not bad, but its not that amazing either, legs came out too "spindly" and the body too long, but that's easily fixed with a few pattern modifications. Though to answer your question, time + desire, I don't have much of a desire to do ponies, nor do I have the time to do them.

I'd have to crank out a few more quad life sized plushes before I felt comfortable with the patterns.

Woo, decided to do a art trade with someone & asked them what was okay to draw their character doing &  & the few things they said was okay was on my "won't draw" list. so I did this
