Oh well. you're too young to appreciate. people love their retro goggles that said i think it's a fantastic film Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 01-22-2010 Chinatown was really good, even though the ending was a bit of a let-down. Re: The Movie Thread - Surf314 - 01-22-2010 Equilibrium was good but I thought gun-fu a little silly. Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 01-23-2010 About to see Airplane for the first time. I am p excited. Re: The Movie Thread - Black Aspen - 01-23-2010 (01-23-2010, 09:37 PM)Karthkarthkarth link Wrote: About to see Airplane for the first time. I am p excited. Bueller didn't impress me when I saw it, but Airplane stands up really well still. Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 01-23-2010 Airplane was amazing. Re: The Movie Thread - Luinbariel - 01-24-2010 I must be the only person who loved Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I learned how to make the dripping sound effect like Cameron because of that movie and used to do it during exams all the time. There's actually some conspiracy theory that thinks Ferris and his girlfriend are all by-products of Cameron's imaginations or something. That being said, I just watched Perfume for a school project. DON'T. I taught a friend once (with two people doing it in the same class from across the room during a test is priceless) but I don't even really know how I taught him. You are SOL.
I can do it too. There really is no way to teach it over the internet, it's hard enough to teach in real-life. Re: The Movie Thread - KorJax - 01-29-2010 Finally going to see Fantastic Mr. Fox at a dollar saver tomorrow, with non-the-less the only local furry I've ever known to exist who just recently moved into town apparently Re: The Movie Thread - Luinbariel - 01-29-2010 (01-29-2010, 09:14 AM)SBCrystal link Wrote:
How the fuck do you do this i've wanted to know for years :'( Also Ferris Bueller's Day Off is one of my favorite movies
I don't know how to teach you. AWESOME movie Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 01-31-2010 Just got back from Edge of Darkness. First thoughts? Really good. If there's one thing i must warn you about, it's that the movie is NOT what the trailers make it out to be. It's a detective film, not a popcorn action flick. But that's not the cool part. Before the movie started, we got free passes to a movie screening on Wednesday. Only problem. Usher: "We are giving out free movie passes!" Me: "For what film, you kind handsome devil?" Usher: "That's classified." All I know is that it's an Action-Adventure movie coming in the next few months. I'll let you guys know my thoughts if I end up seeing it. AWESOME movieDude, just saw it, and I concur. The whole movie is quite amazing, and I enjoyed the way it portrayed post apocalyptia, but the last ten minutes made everything that much more worth it. I had shivers almost the entire time. Re: The Movie Thread - Black Aspen - 01-31-2010 I was so into seeing Book of Eli (I'm a huge sucker for post-apocalyptic fiction), until I started to get really, really strong preachy vibes from it. Thoughts? Very subtle in-fact. |
