I wish my teachers were cancelling classes due to N1H1 fears, like my friend in the technical college.......

Re: The Going Back to School Thread - KorJax - 09-13-2009

I'm trying to judge wither or not I should fear this quarter or not.  Taking 1.5 hour long art history course, meets twice a week, a 2.5-3 hour art 1 drawing course that meets twice a week, a 1.5 hour long silk screening course that meets twice a week, and a 3 hour long "digital pre-press" class that meets once a week.

It sounds great but there's going to be so much stuff involved it's not even funny, that damn art course alone will take up most of my time I just know it Sad

Seems like it's going to be one of those quarters where every class is just a bunch of major projects that all need turned in at the same intervals.

You can do it, and just imagine what you'll end up making in the end!

Re: The Going Back to School Thread - Luinbariel - 09-14-2009

I really need my student loans soon...

If I'd decided to go back to school sooner I would likely have had my money already, but because I decided late... it could be weeks yet.

Sad

Re: The Going Back to School Thread - Eschatos - 09-14-2009

Well there is one bit of good news.  I did really good on the PSAT, and tomorrow I'll find out if I got National Merit.

Re: The Going Back to School Thread - 3clipse - 09-15-2009

I have about 3 friends in each of my class and lunch, besides Pre-Calc of course, I only have 2 aquatics and am surrounded by about 20 seniors... Sweet schedule. Time to make friends.

Re: The Going Back to School Thread - Luinbariel - 09-15-2009

Blegh I'm alone pretty much all day. I can/have made some friends in class, but either I'm only in for one class and then I leave or I have a 4 hour gap in which I study and would rather be alone anyway.

:/

Re: The Going Back to School Thread - Badgerman of DOOM - 09-15-2009

Yeah for my schedule I have to walk at least 2 full hallways to get to each class.
