Re: Co-Op Night ? - Senortacos - 04-15-2008 It's Synergy. Peaches and I played on server through ravenholm. It was entertaining but a completely different experience. Re: Co-Op Night ? - exanimo - 04-21-2008 How many people can play Synergy at once? Re: Co-Op Night ? - Eschatos - 04-21-2008 Technically, infinite. In reality it depends on the server and the players tolerance for lag. I'd estimate we could easily have eight people on a map designed for that number. Re: Co-Op Night ? - Versus - 04-21-2008 hot. Re: Co-Op Night ? - exanimo - 04-22-2008 Wouldn't that make the game really, really easy then? Or can you bump up AI skill? This should be reason enough for you folks to get HL1 if you don't already have it. Synergy is alright too, but I really prefer Sven. Will be playing much in the coming weeks. Re: Co-Op Night ? - Chooly - 05-07-2008 For Future Refence Once Sven-Coop rolls around one Monday, Have Sven coop 3.0 installed, along with: HLSP Fix And This File: http://www.hlrse.net/files/Misc/Sven%20Co-op%20v3.0%20Complete%20Pack.exe basically FlyingMongoose packaged a repository of the Sven Files' section of their website. NOTE: Make damn sure you have deleted reo1.res from the package however. Sven-no-worky otherwise. Re: Co-Op Night ? - FlyingMongoose - 05-09-2008 Here is the proper order to install: Sven-Coop Complete Pack Sven-Coop 3.0 Install HLSP Install This should provide a proper install. The enemies had a lot more health when we were dicking around in "map1" or whatever, so that might be the case with HL2's co-op campaign. Re: Co-Op Night ? - FlyingMongoose - 05-13-2008 I wonder how the shadowgrounds coop is... Re: Co-Op Night ? - FlyingMongoose - 05-13-2008 If it is I'm still curious, but I can check...both of them. Re: Co-Op Night ? - FlyingMongoose - 05-13-2008 Yeah, local only Re: Co-Op Night ? - ZargonX - 05-13-2008 Freedom Force lets you use your custom heroes in MP, right? Re: Co-Op Night ? - Squishy3 - 05-30-2008 I'm surprised that nobody's mentioned UT3's co-op, unless I missed it when I skimmed through the thread. It's only 4 players, but it'd still be fun. I don't think many of us own UT3, I heard that it was a huge stink bomb on the PC and not worth the price Re: Co-Op Night ? - Squishy3 - 05-30-2008 (05-30-2008, 01:39 AM)CaffeinePowered link Wrote:
I don't think many of us own UT3, I heard that it was a huge stink bomb on the PC and not worth the price
It's a nice break from TF2, I played it for a bit tonight. Still feels like good old UT, though. Plays exactly like 2k4 except with vehicles now. The only problem is there are still quite a bit of errors for it (there are solutions for most of them on the epic games forums, though), and the menu UI is horrible right now, don't know if they released a patch to fix it yet, haven't checked. Re: Co-Op Night ? - Vandamguy - 05-30-2008 downloaded and didn't even install it. played the demo , was "alright" didnt have the high speed tension im used to in UT games Re: Co-Op Night ? - ScottyGrayskull - 05-30-2008 (05-30-2008, 12:41 AM)Squishy3 link Wrote: I'm surprised that nobody's mentioned UT3's co-op, unless I missed it when I skimmed through the thread. Seemed pretty fun actually. Very generic looking, but the crazy weapons and vehicles make up for it. Don't think my computer can run it though. :S Re: Co-Op Night ? - Squishy3 - 05-30-2008 (05-30-2008, 08:00 AM)ScottyGrayskull link Wrote:
Heh, it's funny that the series made to be the multiplayer branch of Unreal now has it's own single player campaign. You end up fighting for an Indian/Thai nation or something (this is right after the first cutscene, so no spoilers here), I can't remember, and the way the first few battles are is you kill people until their respawners run out of energy, or you capture the flag 3 times since it's the powersource for their respawner. |
