Insurgency 2 has a kickstarter going on. Claims to be a tactical shooter in the vein of Rainbow 6, the suppressive fire mechanic is actually pretty cool (if bullets are flying by you, your screen gets fuzzy.)

Well, something already done in Battlefield 3 and Red Orchestra 2, but it is a cool mechanic still, heh. I think I remember playing the first one abit, but didn't really stick with it for whatever reason. This one doesn't look to bad though for a lower budget title.

So John Carmack's virtual reality headset he had at E3 is getting a kickstarter. Said to be the world's first head-mounted display meant purely for gaming (120 degree diagonal FoV, low latency head tracking, affordable price.)
