Just because someone sends you an invite does not mean that google instantly sends you an invite to wave, it took them a week to "process" (I guess would be the word) my invite.

it's not as good as it could or will probably be. No way to insert inline images for one. There is a gadget for inserting html code into a wave, but it's pretty bulky and not very useful in terms of streaming conversations/threads.
You can embed images from a google image search, but it comes in pre-sized and linked to a google redirect.
But i did add a last.fm app to the thread. you can add you last.fm id to it, and it'll update the last song played live in the thread.

oh, some cool thing.
If you do a search for "with:public" it shows all the waves that are open to anyone with an account.
so "with:public tf2" will give all the waves talking about tf2 etc etc. If you're feeling pretty lonely hanging around in an app that none of your friends have touched since the invite.
