Re: Battlefield 4 - FlyingMongoose - 11-02-2013 Server patch released today, no confirmation on what exactly the patch does, so map cycle remains. Other server administrators are reporting that crashes still occur, no comment on latency yet, but it's probably still there. Re: Battlefield 4 - FlyingMongoose - 11-02-2013 NFO announced they've added in a feature to enforce the game mode setting properly by reapplying it every map change, that has allowed the quick play and quick join to work properly, so population has been staying up mostly now, which is awesome. Also, Goffin says he's running some kind of event this evening... I think. Re: Battlefield 4 - About47Pandas - 11-02-2013 I am so Behind, I have 6 more hours to download BF4... This is deadly to my ego it is me, but I also think it is origin. Steam downloads between 300-500KB/ps and origin does 160 - 270 KB/ps Re: - FlyingMongoose - 11-02-2013 (11-02-2013, 04:26 PM)About47Pandas link Wrote: I am so Behind, I have 6 more hours to download BF4... [/quote] Lol Let me rephrase, Ive been downloading this game since Wednesday, and because 2 others have got on it, it was turned off, or some other mishap. I now have 13 hours to go. When the download started. "180hours" Re: - FlyingMongoose - 11-03-2013 So says Battlelog tablet app, yay! Still no word on map fixes yet. Sent from my wireless communicator. Re: Battlefield 4 - About47Pandas - 11-03-2013 Is there a place where people put their Origin IDs? Re: Battlefield 4 - About47Pandas - 11-04-2013 Playing now. Re: Battlefield 4 - Goffin - 11-04-2013 where do you reside? reason I asked is I looked at the logs in the server and noticed it was kicking you for a high ping rate.  Re: Battlefield 4 - FlyingMongoose - 11-04-2013 (11-04-2013, 09:18 AM)Goffin link Wrote: where do you reside?  reason I asked is I looked at the logs in the server and noticed it was kicking you for a high ping rate.  It's not his physical location, it's his ISP, and will be fixed soon. Also, There were 2 patches to servers, again still no work on map patches so I'm still keeping map cycle. Re: Battlefield 4 - About47Pandas - 11-04-2013 Yea, I'm in a unique situation, I think it's mentioned in the computer forums, some where. Tldr or find - building house, living in it/working on it. Brighthouse will be putting in a node on dec 28th waiting on their permit to go through, I have 1.5 down and .5 up wireless clear. Will be getting 90 down and 10 up from BH I saw it on procon as well. Nothing I can do about it right now. Gotta live with it till the 28th of dec Re: Battlefield 4 - About47Pandas - 11-04-2013 The Banner says the server is up... but it is not showing up in BF4's Battlelog. Re: Battlefield 4 - Goffin - 11-05-2013 yep, it's showing a different IP as well but it's not up. Re: Battlefield 4 - FlyingMongoose - 11-05-2013 It's working now, there's been some strange things going on with EA/Blaze (Server Software) updates lately. But the IP of the actual server hasn't changed, ever, nor will it change, don't know why it was showing a different IP. Maybe repercussions of the recent US government shutdown Re: Battlefield 4 - About47Pandas - 11-05-2013 So apparently my internet connection is blasting the rest of the server with lag. O_o Not gonna play on BrBu servers if I am really fucking it up for everyone else. Ill just play on small 16 man servers. O_o Once your new net is in it should be fine, but we have noticed probably due to it needing to transmit to so many other players it causes latency issues when there is a ping of about 150 or higher Sent from my wireless communicator. Re: Battlefield 4 - Goffin - 11-06-2013 Panda was idling around 100ms then would shoot up to 330MS; it would gradually go down 330, 229, 180, 100 Ms.  Rinse, repeat.  Poor guy! Also, we had are first hacker (at least on my watch) that had aim-bot "bearwithrockets".   I spectated his ass on the next board and watch him for about 5 minutes. I honestly donât even know how it's fun for them because his sights constantly tracked targets every other second. It made my eyes bleed.  It took me another 5 minutes to figure out kicking since I was defaulted to EA servers and not punkbuster. I also sent the "send punkbuster screen shot" command but not sure if that does anything.  By the time I banned him he was at 55/8 (on the prison board no less the lol) |
