It's such a bothersome issue, as on one hand, I love putting on my poker face serious mode and devouring teamstackers as spy (lolsnipers, razorback is still terrible against my revolver even if you are getting a handjob by a jackass medic.)

Problem is: it's such a depressing thing seeing people not as good or new to the game leaving due to the frustration of a few bad apples that refuse to compromise. Rule one should be to make sure the community as a whole is happy, we should save the serious stuff for the people who want serious stuff, you know?

I was playing against them and had a lot of fun and decided to do it the creative way, double stab, was more of a challenge and probably more rage inducing.

*stab*
*break*
*DR*

"HAHA my razorback worked!"

ten seconds later

*real stab*

I would love to play against the SS peeps. I did a week or two and it was great. (Well, there were like three of them.) While I lost a 100-200 points stats wise, it was still very fun for me. Yeah, yeah, I know it kills the server because some people can't handle it and get frustrated and rage quit. Although, it is fun to make people rage quit.

I don't think you *get* the problem

its not "oh they so good we cant stop em"

its this:

They are fucking dicks.

Day before yesterday I was following liquid who was playing with DBZ and miyari

always hit random, and must have owned the shit out of miyari and DBZ as they both went pyro, miyari quit and DBZ just started spamming binds ("Scrub down! Scrub down! Scrub down!") everytime he burned me to death.

Earlier today was playing on a server and they both happened to join it.

Whenever I randomed onto their team miyari refused to heal me.

Anytime anything happened they were snobs about it.

So being one of the 2 demos on a team with a medic RIGHT THERE it was infuriating to still have to make the decision to be there now with 30 health or walk the whole way, and get there a little ahead of the heavy.

The first time was just unthinkable, 30 health on fire, and start getting healed and it immediately stops and I'm just left to die.

I don't think he's going to care. We play together. We hop servers together, because we play together. It becomes a "WTF TEAM STACK" when people join us from our friends. I'm sorry we have friends, I guess. It's most of the same crew of #ss / competitive players that cody mentioned months ago. Can't do anything about it, I'm not going to sit there and go "HEY FRIENDS STOP WANTING TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES WITH ME YOU ASSHOLES." I also can't blame people for not wanting to play this game with randoms versus people they know (sorry, but the server is often stacked before we get there), it can only be described as excruciating at times. Most of our friends don't really like pubbing, so when they do they're not going to play 'Let's carry the team!' and it ends up as some horrible wtf teamstack. I played a game last night with dbz where he and I had upward of 50 points and every single other player on our team had single digit score. It's not very fun when it's stacked, but it's also not extremely fun to have to carry. Ultimately, when it comes down to doing something that I want to do, with someone else, that's just how it is sometimes.

One of the last times I played, I was deliberately moved away from dbz's team by an admin just so I couldn't medic him anymore, since apparently the new definition of a teamstack involves a single soldier/medic or sniper/medic combo. I switched back after teams were scrambled or something, and I was kicked from the server entirely. This defeats my purpose for even playing in the pub, so I decided not to rejoin. Or "ragequit," if the thought of that would make you jolly. Maybe I did, because since we don't plan on coming back so that takes care of that little problem right there, I suppose.

Also, Keen, you're a troll - you deliberately go out of your way to grief both dbz and myself every single time we're on a server with you and it's just general annoyance, because of which neither of us care for you very much. This is why I don't heal you. I make very, very few exceptions to general medic policy and congratulations on being one of them, I guess. Giggle and fap about it to your hearts content. Unfortunately though, to add our side to your little story, it was less of "OH GOD HE'S OWNING US SO HARD" and more of "this is annoying, two can play at this game." Troll or be trolled, I suppose.

And hey - nobody ever got any better by fighting against players worse than themselves.

Re: Teamstack Rage-fest - Luca Shoal - 06-11-2011

"nobody ever got any better by fighting against players worse than themselves." Then go play somewhere else if we're beneath you Mr/Ms. high and mighty. I see a lot of QQ there and no real argument in your favor. So... good job making yourself look like a whiny bitch?

Re: Teamstack Rage-fest - Hobospartan - 06-11-2011

There's a fucking reason all talk is on.

It's so you can play with your friends without having to be on the same team.

Bahaha.

I knew one of you was going to post to that, just irk'ed you enough, eh?

I was the admin who kicked you, miyari. And don't act all little miss innocent, your reply to getting moved to one team was to go spec and force an auto-balance to rejoin your two #ss buddies, not just dbz, with a verbal reply of "I gotta teamstack with them" - and admins here do not have the ability to force just you to change teams. There was a vote scramble, and YOU were switched. YOU switched back and got the due punishment. Don't try to bring up a 3 week old event and try to skew the events in your favor to garner sympathy, just because you have a set of tits doesn't mean every guy will be "Oh poor you, you got admin abused on"

Our server is almost never stacked, you and your little friends just fail to realize that brbu has well over 2 dozen people who play regularly, no matter what there's probably going to be more brbu than pubs at any given time.

Oh, also, if brbu were to choose to teamstack, guess what? It's our fucking server. Not yours. Deal with it. Or be like dbz, get your steamid banned and don't come back. No one's going to miss you.

You know full well than when you get 2 pro level snipers playing with a pocket medic dancing around just them, that it's near impossible to kill them. You choose to ignore that fact and act all innocent, when you know full well how that affects the team balance.

We've got one cardinal rule; "don't be a dick" - purposefully playing in a manner which is detrimental to the fun of the vast majority of players in the server and is not sportsman like - is being a dick.

Re: Teamstack Rage-fest - miyari - 06-11-2011

Oh man, being called a "whiny bitch" in a topic crying about teamstacking. Can't handle it.

But yeah, unfortunately your understanding of the situation isn't entirely clear - I rejoined the team to play with dbz, not anyone else in #ss. They follow him to servers then we end up getting punished and called teamstackers. I'm not trying to play some "miss innocent" role - I stated quite clearly that my only intention on the server was to play with dbz, and this is apparently teamstacking and a huge issue. It really shouldn't be, it caused a problem and neither of us planned on coming back. We're not the ones pointing fingers and calling names (and until your post, neither were any of your admins). I wasn't calling "admin abuse," I was merely stating that I was bothered so much by the fact that I got moved off of my pocket's team just because his fucking friends joined him to play that I didn't come back to the servers. I never once pulled some admin abuse card, it's your fucking server and you can do whatever you want. The reason I brought up a 3 week old event is because I don't remember playing on the server more than 3 times but apparently it's warranted such venom from some people that I had to recall one of the only scenarios in which I could find any sort of justifiable reasoning. I don't know about "my little friends" but I personally don't know jack shit about your community nor have I ever claimed to - like I said, typically the scenario is dbz and I playing together then people joining us from friends. We don't really enjoy playing against each other, and that's our choice, and if that's not cool with you guys then there's nothing we can, or will, do about it. *shrug*

Contrary to what you guys may think, we aren't on some mission to kill your servers, stack the teams, or purposefully empty them or any bullshit like that. We just wanted to play a video game together. Oh well, it's really not worth the torrential flamefest. Tongue
