Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Eschatos - 07-18-2012 Do we have enough SINSers to make getting Rebellion worth it? Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - NiceGuy - 07-19-2012 Does anybody have any opinions for the current community choice: Dreamfall? Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Reevesith - 07-19-2012 Was able to get a few dollars & grabed Stalker clear skys. Odd playing a game where 2 steps = dead :u Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - backfire - 07-19-2012 (07-19-2012, 02:31 PM)Reevesith link Wrote: Was able to get a few dollars & grabed Stalker clear skys. Odd playing a game where 2 steps = dead :u The way I viewed the Stalker games; they absolutely hate you. These things do not want you playing them. They think of you as utter shit and will continue kicking your ass for roughly 4-6 hours until you finally get the hang of it. After the insanely steep difficulty curve those, it's a hell of a lot of fun. Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Maxon - 07-19-2012 F5 is your friend. Quicksave after EVERYTHING. Till you get a good suit, mutants and anomalies will destroy you. Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Eightball - 07-19-2012 Damn. Sniper Elite V2, Alan Wake, and Witcher 2. Thoughts? I think Alan Wake will more or less be a buy at that price, but what about the other two? Alan Wake is easily a buy at the price.  I greatly enjoyed it and I got the mini-sequel with the sale too.  Haven't beaten it, but it's very interesting.  Mr. Scratch is pretty awesome. Personally, I found Sniper Elite V2 to be kinda shit.  I played it on Xbox and while the sniper mechanic is entertaining and reasonably interesting, the rest of the game is horribly generic.  I played for half an hour and just stopped, barely touched it, but I could tell it wasn't gonna be good for me.  Just my opinion though. Witcher 2 is worth that price also.  It's a damn challenging, especially at the start, but it's a pretty well done non-linear action RPG. Still need to beat it actually. Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - matter11 - 07-20-2012 bought the games in the machinarium-maker bundle. Did not buy the bundle because I don't need a soundtrack cluttering my library. Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - MC Fartlett - 07-20-2012 Have only picked up Mirror's Edge so far, which I have played through many times on a pirated copy. The game never gets old for me though. I fucking wish I would have picked up SFIV when it was on sale...goddamnit. Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - kaese - 07-20-2012 I've bought: From Dust, Terraria, Hitman: Blood Money, Mirror's Edge, Fallout 3, and Prince of Persia Only played Terraria so far...for 25 hrs the first 3 days. Then I stopped playing anything lol. I saw Steam's warning about Fallout 3 not being optimized for Win7. Is it a huge problem? I assume there would be ways to fix/get around it. Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - at0m - 07-20-2012 I'm refusing to do business with the monster. My wallet is hurting from IRL hobbies enough. You know if you don't buy enough merchandise/games from steam, Gabe Newell will turn into Bobby Kotik, and you don't want that to happen now do you? Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Luca Shoal - 07-20-2012 Ahh, but if he doesn't keep buying Warhams, then GW will send a real live Tyranid to his house to fuck it up. Also, I forgot I bought Just Cause 2, even tho I'm still on XP. It was like, 8bux with all the DLC. I just bought Fallout:NV ultimate last night too because fuck it I've waited long enough :V. Neither Scar nor I had any problems, but since I don't know the precise issue they're referring to, I can't guarantee that it'll be okay for everyone. Sent from my Android using Tapatalk |
